The first thing I see when PChome borrow me phone for the test is its weight which remind me more a video game console than a cell phone. Not very easy to put in a pocket…The second thing I see is the brand “Hansel”, I don’t know this brand at all so I will test this product without a priori. As I said, its design is not fine. Hansel haven t try to give us a very elegant model. The phone is really square and plastics’ don t seems to be made in a high quality. The finishing of this Hansel is far from being as sexy as a nokia or a Samsung... If Hansel don t tries to get costumers with a sexy phone, the Chinese brand wants to attract them with a lot of function like a TV reader, a FM tuner reader and much more options...
The front of this cell phone is taken by a big touch screen and key boards in which notes are reduce to the minimum possible.
It has been create to use more with the stylus than with the key board which is in my opinion useless in those types of phones. Using the stylus is easy with the big screen and the screen sensibility is good when you use the stylus or your finger. In opening the phone we see a simple slot card and a TFlash card reader, that nice if you want to increase the phone memory.
The screen,ring tones,peripheral interface
We can see on the back a camera lens of 1.3 Mega pixels. You can take pictures with it in three image qualities: high, low or medium. In the best quality, pictures you will take are honestly not very good so don’t even try to take pictures in the low quality.
The good thing of this camera is that it gave you a lot of functions. You’ll can take your pics in three different size (240;320 640;480 and 800;600). You can set up the brightness and the banding from 50 Hz to 60 Hz. There is a very nice setting option with which you'll be able to take between 2 and 5 pics in a very short time and a delay timer. You still can set up the white balance with the following options: auto, daylight, tungsten, fluorescents, cloud, incandescence and a lot of effects settings are proposed: grayscale, sepia, sepia green, sepia blue, color invert and contrast. To finish with the camera options you can put nice wall paper frame. All those options show that the game sides of pictures have been privileged instead of the pics quality.
The TV Function
Let’s go to the serious things in watching closer the first selling argue of the phone: its capacity to read TV. In opening the antenna we can see one more time that Hansel haven t made a lot of effort on the finishing. You will have to open the antenna in being very carefully if you don’t want to break it. We can set up the brightness and make a channel selection. Everything on this phone has been made in order to watch TV. This concept represent, I think the future of phones. As a camera is now a standard, it will be the same with TV very soon. This phone got a big screen with a good resolution as we can see on this picture (this beautiful screen will attract beautiful girls ha-ha)
In order to show you what give this nice screen with the TV reader we have test it in several places: to begin imagine you are in the subway and need to know a very important things like the results of the 100 meters in Beijing Olympics games there is what you will see.

Image is better and the sound to but it's still far from being perfect. In this quality it's just ok to see look at the TV one minute but it's not ok to watch it one hour. Again the quality is not good. One more test to finish, in my apartment to know if I can watch my cell phone when my girlfriend doesn’t want to watch the football game.
Here we've got colors and sound is better. But I think the quality is not good enough to watch a full football gameSo to conclude with the TV, I really think that a good idea in a phone and the quality of screens of now is perfect for it but for now the reception quality is too bad to use it really. Maybe a good thing would be to put a TV exit on the phone, as that you’ll be able to watch your football game and your girlfriend another program on the TV.
Games Function,SMS,Overall assessment
As I said before this phone is made for young costumer; it integrates a lot of games 7 gb games and 32 nes games. It‘s very nice to play with this big screen. You just have to put the phone on the horizontal (games can be read horizontally and vertically) and you have a real consol game in your hands.
As every recent phone you’ll find an alarm, a calendar, a “to do list” and a calculator. Moreover you’ll find a world clock (well done), a unit converter, a currency converter and a health program for menstrual and BMI (tell you if you are ok with your height and your weight). In the multimedia part of the menu you’ll find a voice recorder, a melody composer and a FM radio reader.
To write your message you can use the stylus to write characters or English on the screen and the phone will recognize what you write or you can use the key boards. Another possibility is to make appears a digital key board and use your stylus in it. I think that the digital keyboard is too small to be nice and it’s the same for the real key board. So the best way to write your text is maybe to write with the stylus but the phone don t recognize very well what you write so it’s not easy to write text.
To conclude we can say that bad points are the design, finishing quality and text software. Good points are the TV reader and the number of options you’ve got with this phone.
