I'm here for your IELTS interviews...now let's see what I can do for you with your questions on the IELTS speaking test. 谭淑静：1.Please prepare various types of questions, especially those in Part One and Part Two.You may probably want/need to write down your answers. 2.Read your writings loudly and read them as fluent as possible,then try to retell them 5 or 10 or 20 times....the more times the better.3.Keep doing Step 2 until you meet your examiner. |

网友：我的口语处于很基础的状态，但是英语水平是六级，要达到6分水平。大概需要练习多久？如何练习？谢谢！ 谭淑静：1.How Long:I can give you a confrimed time after I listen to you speaking English... Approximately, based on your description, it may at least take you 3 months to reach band-6.You may shorten the period of time if you work really hard and effectively. 2.How to Practice:(1)Find a good language partner--any one who is a band-7 English language user is good for you.(2)Use the right book--an IELTS speaking book written by Mark Griffiths. |

网友：如果想要进外企，口语需要达到几分的水平？谢谢！ 谭淑静：It depends on what positions in company you want to take. Higher positions: Band-7(Band-8,9 are most welcomed) Intermediate ones: Band-6. I personally believe that one has to be a Band-5 for whatever positions you want to take in a Joint Venture company. |

网友：考前多长时间开始上辅导班比较好？ 谭淑静：For taking the crash courses, I personally think that 2 or three months before your test date. Then you can have time to practice those skills and techniques your learned from the training classes. |

网友：怎么样才能避免考场无话可说？做好发散性思维（brainstorm）？ 谭淑静：1.Be well-prepared before you see the examiner is one way to avoid the problem you mentioned. 2.Use hesitation devices to buy some time so that you can think on your questions/topics. 3.Use who/when/where/what/why/how to question yourself on the points with which you stuck. |

网友小婷：如果从来没有接触过雅思，想报班的话，是不是必须从基础版学起，我的英语水平还是不错的！六级水平！ 谭淑静：No, you don't have to. Actually, most IELTS training schools give tests to help the students choose the right class to register.So please go and take one, then you'll see.... |

网友：怎么样再短期内快速提高口语列，我的口语水平不是很好。 谭淑静：The best way to polish your speaking is to speak it as often as possible!You may even need to speak in English while you dream in the nights. |

网友：我是一开口就紧张，如何克服这个问题啊？而且还是一开口本来会的单词全都忘了，怎么办？ 谭淑静：Next time, you may want to try to write down what you are going to say, then recite/memorise them.... like you are preparing a speech... |

无忧雅思网：请问谭老师，最近的口语考试有什么新的动态和变化吗？ 谭淑静：It's has been always the same since July, 2001 except the band score change occured in July,2007. |

网友：我一直觉得只要英语学好了，应付什么考试都可以，就像我考研英语成绩如果很理想的话，考雅也应该没问题，是这样吗？谢谢老师！ 谭淑静：Yes and No. Yes: no matter what kind of English test it is, it tests the language of English. No: different areas of the language are tested by different tests. For example, speaking is inclusive in an IELTS exam.While in contrast考研英语,speaking is exclusive. |
