7月11日，Oracle将在纽约发布。11g选在11号发布，这也许是Oracle的有意安排。
那么在纽约发布之后，下个月底7月30~8月2日的上海Oracle Open World大会，Oracle应该会全面推介新的版本了，这一切就如同2004年Oracle10g发布的时候一样。

很多Oracle业内的专家被邀请参加这一盛事，看来Oracle11g已经毫不犹疑的向我们走来。
如果还没有上Oracle10g的企业，那么完全可以等一等直接上Oracle11g算了，估计在今年底到明年初，Oracle将为11g推出一到两个重要的补丁包或升级版本，那么11g就将是可以考虑被采用的版本。
