dotMobi总裁发来的祝贺函英语原文
First, thanks very much for the great efforts from HiChina in dotMobi and Mobile Internet promotion, which is impressive and effective.
Since its launch on May 22, 2006, dotMobi and the .mobi domain have gained great attention in China’s mobile Internet industry. Content and applications based on dotMobi’s open standards enable consumers to enjoy innovative services when accessing the Internet through mobile phones, such as search and m-commerce transactions. Globally, dotMobi has coordinated with its local partners, industry giants and strategic investors to aid the development of mobile content and applications.
China is our top priority as we plan our development. We are helping accelerate China’s access to the Internet on mobile phones through partnership development in both channel and value-added sectors. We are also developing tools and new initiatives that help large user groups adopt dotMobi names, such as http://dev.mobi (a forum for the developer community) and http://mr.dev.mobi, a report for showing the quality of mobile sites. Because we view China as a priority market, we are completing work on a Chinese version of http://mr.dev.mobi, which will be launched in the first quarter of 2007.
Findings from a recent research conducted by Kelton Research indicate that consumers will be willing to spend significant time and money accessing the Internet on mobile phones once marketers and web site designers resolve usage and security issues.
The .mobi domain was launched to ensure that the growing number of mobile user can easily and cost-effectively locate, access and use sites with the best made-for-mobile Internet content and services available, anywhere anytime.
And, we are glad to see partners, like HiChina and others, have been doing well in promoting the open platform for customers and driving China into a leadership position in the revolution of the internet of the mobile era.

CEO, dotMobi
