PMA2005大展上,宾得(PENTAX)公司发布了多款新产品。而PCHOME就本届PMA大展访问了宾得公司的高层,PENTAX(宾得)数码相机事业本部-中国销售战略部部长-太田庆孝先生,中国战略销售战略部市场部-功刀博邦先生接受了采访,并且就PMA2005大展,以及整个2005年数码影像行业的发展趋势,做出了答复。以下就是本次访谈的具体内容。

PCHOME:您认为2005年的消费级数码相机的总体发展趋势是什么?

What do you think the general developing trend of consumer digital camera will be in 2005 ?

Ans. High pixels and additional functions.

PENTAX:高像素化和多功能化。

PCHOME:您如何看待数码相机在未来将更为注重轻薄小型化,高像素化,时尚个性化(比如大屏LCD)和多功能化(比如MPEG4)?

What is your opinion on the situation that DC will more concentrate on slim body, miniaturization, high pixels, fashionable individuation (eg. large size LCD) and multi-functions (eg. MPEG4) in the future ?

Ans. DSC will move to such direction and we will go the similar direction.

PENTAX:上述这些是数码相机的发展方向,也许宾得公司的发展方向。

PCHOME:在此次奥兰多PMA2005大展之后,贵公司会有哪些最新产品将投入中国市场?

After this PMA2005 in Orlando, which new products is going to be sold in China market ?

Ans. We will sell our *ist DS Silver, Optio S5n and Optio WP in China as well.

PENTAX:我们很快就将在中国市场销售我们的*istDs银色版、Optio S5n和Optio WP。

PCHOME:在2005年贵公司投放中国市场的数码相机将有哪些主要特色?

What are the primary features of those digital cameras which sold in China in 2005 ?

Ans. We think; High pixels, attractive design.

PENTAX:我们认为是,高像素,吸引人的外观设计。

PCHOME:目前的移动通信工具(比如高像素拍照手机),在拍照方面已经趋于完善,您认为这对于目前中低消费级数码相机是否会形成较大的冲击?您是如何看待这个问题?

Nowadays mobile communication tools (eg. mobile phones with high-pixels camera functions) have already become to perfect in taking photos. Do you think it will make a larger impact to the low-end and middle-end consumer digital cameras ? What is your opinion ?

Ans. Yes. We must accept the market trend and make a countermeasure by differentiation.

PENTAX:目前的确存在这个现象,我们必须接受这个市场趋势,并且做出相应的对策。

PCHOME:如今的数码相机,已经完全能够满足普通人的使用需求,可以说在技术方面,数码相机已经基本趋于成熟,您觉得今后数码相机在技术方面还会取得哪些重大的突破?

Today DC is already able to meet one’s need almost perfectly. It can be said that DC has already gone to perfect basically in technology way. What do you think what great breakthrough will be on DC in technology way in the future?

Ans. Multi-function and more product differentiation.

PENTAX:多功能化,并且产品更加细分,针对不同的市场。

PCHOME:贵公司在上一年度的业绩表现和市场占有率方面的表现如何?贵公司今年的计划和目标是什么?

What are Pentax’s outstanding achievement on sales and performance on market share rate during the last financial year? What is the plan and target for this year ?

Ans. Launching of Optio S4i and *ist DS. We had contributed to people in terms of convenience on the carry-around. This has been an important trend of DSC’s direction.

PENTAX:我们去年发布了Optio S4i和*istDS,市场状况非常好。今年,我们将会更加注重和加强便携相机的研发、生产和推广力度。

PCHOME:贵公司如何看待逐渐庞大的中国数码影像市场?今年贵公司是否会加大在中国市场的人力和资金投入?贵公司能否透露2005年以及未来在中国市场的发展战略?

How does Pentax look on the gradually larger China digital imaging market ? Will Pentax increase the devotion on manpower and funds in China market in this year ? Could you please disclose some development strategies for China market in 2005 and future if allowed?

Ans. We think that the market will still be on an expand trend,but the growth ratio will decrease, and the diversification will go on. As the strategy, we will continue the same as the year 2004.

PENTAX:我们认为,中国的数码影像市场是不断增长的,只是增长幅度可能会有所下降,并且市场将会更加多样化。关于战略方面,我们还会延续2004年的战略。

PCHOME:目前数码相机技术的不断成熟,以及数码相机市场的不断发展,造成了激烈的竞争?您是如何看待竞争的?贵公司有哪些措施来应对激烈的竞争?

These days continually mature in DC technology and development in DC market have lead to the intensive competition. What do you think of it ? What measures will be adopted to deal with the competition by Pentax ? 

Ans. Getting more competitive. The measures is not yet fixed, but we feel we need to diversify more in terms of many ways.

PENTAX:我们将会使得自身更具竞争力,当然目前的竞争程度还很难量化,我们认为需要制订一些新的策略来应对。

PCHOME:2004年,我们发现有一部分数码相机产品,其设计理念已经开始有些脱离传统的摄影理念,不是强调摄影艺术,而是向多功能化或者个性化发展,强调一种新的生活方式,您是如何看待这个现象?贵公司在此方面是否有推出此类产品和倡导此类理念的打算?

During 2004, we found that some design concepts of DC products had already started to deviate from those traditional photography concepts. It is not emphasizing on photography art but became one kind of new life style, developing to multi-functions or individuation. What is your idea about this ? Will Pentax have some plan for this kind of products and spark plug this concept ? 

Ans. The right direction for some brands. No plan for Pentax.

PENTAX:这可能是某些品牌所追求的方向。宾得公司目前并没有这个打算。

PCHOME:作为国内注册用户最多,涵盖品牌和产品线最广泛的数码影像器材社区,PCHOME数码影像俱乐部中的会员中,使用贵公司数码相机产品的消费者,和使用其他品牌的消费者相比,在数量上存在较大差异,您如何看待这个问题?

As the digital imaging equipments community which holds the largest domestic registered users, PChome digital imaging club has the widest brands and products line up included. Among these users, there is a great difference in number between Pentax’s users and other brands’. What is your point of view ? 

Ans. Pentax’s marketing activities have lagged behind in China. The situation you mentioned is simply reflecting this. We will try our best so that Pentax users in PChome digital imaging club increase.

PENTAX:过去,宾得在中国的业务起步比较晚。你描述的这个状况就已经反映出了问题。我们将会尽我们最大的努力解决这个问题,我们也有信心,PCHOME数码影像俱乐部中,使用宾得相机的用户会不断的增长。

PCHOME:宾得在日前开幕的PMA2005大展上推出了银色版的*istDs,您是如何看待这款产品?它的推出,对技术和市场分别有什么意义?您对它的市场期望如何?

How do you think of the *ist Ds silver edition which showed in PMA2005 ? What do you look on this product ? What is the meaning for this product to technology and market ? What is your market expectation on it ?

Ans. About 10 years ago, the color of compact camera is black. Now, the color of compact DSC is mainly silver. In the SLR camera market, there have been some demand historically wanting silver version, which used to be a regular color of SLR camera before 1980’s. We would like to attract elder people who is familiar to silver color and some young people looking for something difference from their friends.

PENTAX:10年前,便携数码相机都是黑色的。而现在,大多数的便携相机都已经是银色的。在单反相机市场方面,从历史上来说,在上世纪80年代以前,很多用户都习惯于使用银色的相机。目前我们推出的银色版相机其实是让稍微年长的用户,能够买到让他们感觉更亲切的新款单反相机;或者让年轻的用户拥有与众不同的感觉。

PCHOME:对于和媒体合作部分,贵公司是如何看待的?贵公司觉得媒体,尤其是网络媒体,对贵公司的宣传、报道,会给贵公司带来哪些影响?贵公司今后打算如何与媒体,尤其是和网络媒体之间进行合作?合作的方式和力度是怎样的?

What is your opinion on the cooperation with media ? What influence do you think will be brought to us from propagandizing, reporting for Pentax by media, especially internet media ? How will Pentax plan to make cooperation with media, especially internet media ? What about the methods and the power of strength ? 

Ans. Media plays an important role that they deliver messages and information to people. Exposure on media and introduction of Pentax brand and its product on media will have a great influence on Pentax’s branding in China. We will cooperate with media in 2005 more than before. Starting from year 2005, we will lend out our product every time we launch to media for their test report and article.

PENTAX:媒体扮演了一个向消费者传递信息的重要角色。媒体的曝光度,对宾得品牌和产品的报道力度,都对宾得在中国的品牌形象起到了巨大的影响作用。在2005年,我们将会加大和媒体的合作力度,及时提供给媒体相关的信息和产品来报道。
